| Cinderella does go to the ball! |

Despite poor weather conditions, the roads remain clear and our very first pantomime is atttracting large numbers of visitors from all over Scotland!
Opening night saw audience members who travelled form Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow as well as closer to home, enjoy a fantastic, fun-filled night. Here's what the critics have to say:
It's an overall tremendous PFT panto debut... there can surely be nowhere else in Scotland's panotland where the costumes are more opulent and sparkling! There's enough energy on stage to rival the output of the nearby hydro power station, and fun comes in megaloads. ... this is a panto-tastic production... whose costumes and sets are truly a beautiful spectacle, with oodles of humour too. (Alison Anderson, The Perthshire Advertiser)
Marvellous Mayhem ...a riot of gorgeous frocks and settings...there are slick song and dance routines...and lots of audience participation! (The Times)
Side-splittingly funny...a script that is cheeky (but never to vulgar), to extravagant, colourful sets and tremendous costumes (The Sunday Herald) |

"When staying in Pitlochry during the early part of the war, I chanced to see a stately house with a fairly large garden, quite close to the town. I at once realised that here my dream theatre might well be established in this fashionable resort right in the heart of Scotland"… John Stewart, Founder of Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
