Travels With My Cello

In this intimate concert at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Julian will perform many all-time classics, accompanied by Pam Chowhan on piano. Expect to hear timeless favourites by Bach, Faure, Saint Saëns and Debussy, as well as works by his brother Andrew and father William.

Julian will also reminisce on his many collaborations with musicians as diverse as Yehudi Menuhin, Joaquin Rodrigo, jazz greats Cleo Laine and Stephane Grappelli, as well as Elton John and, of course, his brother Andrew.

Julian celebrates his 60th birthday in 2011. This concert - Travels With My Cello - charts his long and colourful journey from his humble beginnings as London Underground's first official busker!
