As we look ahead to our future, we’re seeking an inspiring and experienced Deputy Artistic Director to play a key role in shaping how work is made at Pitlochry: how artists are supported, how resources are deployed, and how productions are positioned for touring, transfer or further life.

As Deputy Artistic Director,  you will work shoulder to shoulder with the Artistic Director to shape and deliver the artistic programme, deputising as required, representing the Theatre to artists, directors and producers, and ensuring that day to day creative operations consistently deliver high artistic standards, strong production quality, and work with genuine commercial potential.

We are seeking an experienced theatre-maker and leader with the confidence to operate at national level and the discipline to deliver day-to-day. You will bring a strong artistic track record, sound creative judgment, and a clear understanding of how high-quality work is developed, produced and sustained.

This is a role for someone who can think strategically, act operationally, and work collaboratively with the Artistic Director and wider team. You will be comfortable maintaining artistic standards, working with established artists and producers,
