Join us for a summer’s evening in our beautiful Explorers Garden.

Raise a glass with our Artistic Director Alan Cumming, members of the garden team and Theatre colleagues. The evening will kick off with a welcome drink and introductions, followed by a mini taster tour of the garden.

At this time of year expect lots of blooms, particularly with the many rare varieties of meconopsis we are home to. We look forward to pointing out our own version that is unique to us, the Himalayan blue Poppy GSG Explorers. We’ll then return to the Pavilion for more mingling and drinks with staff and fellow supporters. The Pavilion is just one of the stunning spaces for performance in our Garden, which was conceived as a Theatricum Botanicum, which makes it a perfect setting to hear from Alan.

We are delighted to announce Aberfeldy Single Malt as our newest Production Partner for Season 2026, and member of our Community Supporter Syndicate. They are generously supplying us with a special punch, for Members to enjoy at this event. Sip a ‘Dramatic Punch’ cocktail provided by Aberfeldy Single Malt, which is a Perthshire twist on the classic Jungle Bird cocktail. We are told, the warming richness of Aberfeldy 12 glides effortlessly through a blend of pineapple, lime and Martini bitters.
