Fifties Picnics in the Park
Pitlochry Festival Theatre invite you to join us this summer for one of our 1950’s themed community picnics in a greenspace near you.
As part of our season of 75th Anniversary celebrations, we’re throwing back to the decade the Theatre was established and bringing the very best of the fifties to Aberfeldy, Birnam and Pitlochry.
We warmly invite you to gather your friends and family, pack up a picnic, find gorgeous fifties inspired outfits and join us for a summer afternoon of nostalgic, family-friendly fun.
We’ll provide the entertainment, with music from the decade performed by our Theatre Show Choir, and local talent “The Scarlet Hearts”; Myette’s Puppets will take up residency in our “Tiny Theatre in a Tent” with a brand new tale for children; and you’ll be able to take home your own memento of the day after a visit to Betty Booth Photo Booth (a gorgeous vintage caravan).
