This spring, Pitlochry Festival Theatre welcomes two of the Highlands’ most respected musicians, Gary Innes and Ewen Henderson, as they celebrate 20 years of playing together with a special anniversary concert.

From their early days playing dances and weddings across the Highlands to touring the world with Mànran, Gary and Ewen have become leading figures in Scottish traditional music. Their duo performances have taken them as far afield as Kazakhstan, Shanghai, and even touring the US West Coast in a convertible Mustang…

Their music is shaped by these adventures and by the rich musical heritage of their Lochaber upbringing. Born in Spean Bridge, Gary began playing accordion at eight and has since released several acclaimed solo albums, alongside becoming the host of BBC Radio Scotland’s Take the Floor. Ewen, hailing from Fort William, started fiddle at five and has gone on to tour internationally with artists including Battlefield Band and Afro Celt Sound System.
