Keeping Left in Difficult Times
Pauline Bryan was in her twenties when Gordon Brown’s seminal book of essays, The Red Paper on Scotland, was published in 1975. Fifty years later she brought together a group of writers, including 21-year-old Coll McCail, in Keep Left: Red Paper on Scotland 2025.
Join Pauline and Coll for a conversation about how politics has changed in Scotland and across Britain over the last half-century as they discuss keeping the flame of socialism alight in challenging times and answer audience questions towards the end of the event.
