Resourcefulness defines the café’s food philosophy. Cole’s team draws almost everything from the surrounding landscape and sea: pristine seafood from local boats, foraged seaweeds, meat from neighbouring fields, vegetables from the garden, fruit from the orchard, daily baked loaves, and even their own small-batch beer. The menu is wonderfully inventive, with dishes ranging from seaweed croquettes and rich crab bisque to Canna beef pies, gorse-scented crème brûlée, nettle spanakopita, and Singapore chilli Canna crab.

Starter: Kelp Wrapped  halibut served with rhubarb, cannellini bean and potato bake & green beans

Main: Masala Cauliflower Pie served with garlic sauteed new potatoes
